This 17.5" long (one-of-a kind) necklace is made of vintage Chinese fresh water "rice krispy" pearls.. these came out of a long forgotten stash of early examples from when Chinese farmers flooded the pearl market in the 1980's. The pearls are 6-8mm. Delicately chosen and interspersed are delicate pastel toned wheels of natural color Tourmaline measuring 7-10mm. The necklace is finished with a high quality gold vermeil simple hook clasp. This piece is very light weight and eye catching, the colors of each tourmaline wheel play well together.
