A beautiful Antique Victorian Locket produced in Sterling Silver and engraved on both sides. The front features a large star studded with silver studs. It has room to add two photographs within and fully hallmarked on the reverse dating the piece to 1882.

Star images became popular during the late 19th Century as an interest in astronomy grew. Stars symbolise guidance and are seen to lead you in the direction you are meant to go.

A Sterling Silver collar also accompanies the locket and is decorated in stars. It is steeped in history and displays beautiful workmanship from the era.
