A magnificent antique Victorian collar from the late 19th Century bestowed with a large locket chased with elaborate patterning on both sides and a high-relief image of a bird in the centre carrying a branch of flowers.
The chunky collar articulates fluidly and has a wonderful, ornate design. It’s fashioned in silver and gilded in 18ct yellow gold along with the locket which is complete with rims and windows, ready to house two cherished family portraits so they’re kept forever close to the heart.
